Sabin Lamichhane

Sabin Lamichhane has a decade of experience in meaningful youth engagement, peacebuilding, social work, social cohesion, and community engagement. Currently, Mr. Lamichhane is working as Youth Engagement Specialist/ Social & Human Sciences (SHS) Focal Point at UNESCO Country Office in Nepal. He holds a M.A. in Conflict Peace and Development Studies from Tribhuvan University and M. Ed in Training and Development from Kathmandu University. Mr. Lamichhane was a Fellow of NORHED (Norwegian Programme for Capacity Development in Higher Education and Research for Development.) for his M.A. degree. Mr. Lamichhane is a nationally certified Mediator. He is a senior peace fellow (Peace Leadership) of Geneva Centre for Security Policy, United Nations Institute for Training & Research and Federal Division of Foreign Affairs, Swiss Government. Mr. Lamichhane is also an international fellow of Swedish Institute, Government of Sweden and was part SI Leader Lab 2022 and SI Advocacy Lab 2022. Mr. Lamichhane was also a Youth Peace Fellow for “Youth in Conflict Areas” training by International Institute of Peace and Development Studies and Niwano Peace Foundation in 2019.
